AS,

Mr. Dupont at the country club pool who doesn't have to work for a living pays only 15% living off his million shares dividends. Plus he gets all kinds of write-offs. So the rich do pay less don't they? Admit it.

LOL. I think you are getting delusional.

As Kerry said, it's perfectly fair for the rich to give back one third of their tax cuts to pay for Iraq and Afghanistan

Have you talked to your girlfriend about sending 1/3 of her tax cut back to the US Treasury, as Kerry said?

Let me give you a friendly advice: Don't. She might throw you out of the house.

Joe

You are wrong. The rich do not pay less.

Whether it is fair or not, the rich pay much more to the government than the services the get in return. Further more, they even pay a HIGHER PERCENTAGE of their higher income in taxes which further increases the discrepancy (between higher and lower income) in taxes paid vs services received. To state that "rich pay less" is a factual error and I am so sick and tired of liberal regurgitating it.

I have no problem with Bush’s tax cut for the “rich”. But I do have a problem with his spending bills and his tax cut and spend policies. Is there any true fiscal conservative left in politics? It is nauseating.
