meaning to ask First, my sewing waned as I grew older. Since my 30s, it's been more hit and miss, other than an occasional mending chore. As for patterns, I didn't sew without patterns, I made my own patterns. Just tape newspaper together, and layout the pattern on the newspaper. Like any creative exercise, you have to "get into the swing of it". I used to enjoy making some clothes for my better half. The fun part would come when some clothes boutique owner would chase us down in a mall, wanting to know where she had bought her clothes. But all of that was years ago. Reminiscing. lurqer
