So Saddam thought he had WMD's. And Bush thought Saddam had WMD's (I still want to know where Chalabi who was convicted of embezzelment in Jordan fits in this.) SOmebody made alot of money faking the WMD story. Failures of Leadership times 2. Just like Watergate, Iran-Contra. Follow the money. (They were also surprised when the followed the money in Whitewater it went NOWHERE. Except for the 60-80 Million used to fund the open-ended Special Prosecuter.) Bush was technically correct is your defense. Too bad the Blix inspections were not given a chance? What was the rush? We are still fumbling along with North Korea and everybody says they HAVE NooCueLar stuff. And Look... the Libya sanctions and international pressure disarmed MOMar. Who is most culpable in this fiasco? Are you comfortable giving the Administration a pass on this? It seems like they are very insulated. I was surprised when Cheney was still telling the "Mobile weapons lab" story at Davos. He didn't even know what Kay was saying. Do you think the Republicans are correct in blocking a time exstension for the 911 Commission? Has your opinion of this Administration changed at all since 2000 based on current facts? What do you think the record setting voter turn out in Iowa and NH means to Bush's reelection.
