Amy Re..re: "need to make money to pay..preferential treatment to customers" If that were the true reason, you'd have to explain why heart attacks (which are the #1 killer for women, not breast cancer) has small airplay. Think about it. Who is funding the research? The VC normally gets a venture started,proves the viability of the theory, then gets their funding from more VC, investors, or the gov. to fully develop the medicine and help pay for the three phases of tests. And all three, especially the gov.; are normally controlled by men.
