Does our constitution mention Judeo-Christian ethics anywhere? We did not become a secular nation, we were founded as one. Most citizens were Christian, but the founders were careful to keep church and state separate. They were not totally enlightened however, not only denying women the right to vote, but allowing slavery also. Religious governments will never be totally free....... Keep religion in the home and places of worship....there is no reason to mix it in with government. It's a totally private issue.
