Al Re..Seems that he has snookered a bunch of you guys...

Of course. I wanted to be snookered. About a wk. ago Ted asked where the outrage was. I am with most people. I have a SUV, a lot of little toys, etc.; so I, and I think, the majority of the people are looking beyond the small stuff to the major question in our lives; which is, how do I get enough gas, cheap enough, to run all of this stuff. So when we see that some SA princes supported Al Qaeda, Saddam is thumbing his nose at us and the UN, and Iran is still one of the axis of evil; you can understand how we are really getting concerned; as all three major oil producing countries in ME are anti US. So when GW says he will kick out Saddam because of WMD, we are saying YEAH, I can drive my SUV for at least another 2 yrs. And when Gw says, there actually weren't any WMD, but we did get rid of Saddam, and the new gov. might actually like us, we say Yeah, now I can drive my SUV for another 2 yrs.

Contrast that with Kerry, who was against the war to begin with, and should have had a far more critical eye, saying he was snookered; and when, if he gets to be president, he will make sure we never again go to war, unless the French say so, the hell with your SUV, then we tend to get critical again. Its all a matter of perspective.
