Interesting reading, PROLIFE, and there's a lot of response I would like to give you. But for now, let's deal with this:

Are you aware that Sistani has not, does not and will not communicate with the Americans. He's not once talked to any US officials. Anything communicated to him from the US, or vice versa, is by a go-between. I dare say that simply because Sistani did not oppose the US invasion does not make him an ally, especially at this stage of the game. An ally is someone you work with. An ally is someone you communicate and work with.

Right now, Sistani is making his demands and the US is doing their best to satisfy him. And that's about it.
