I found this SI message a good read. Message 19740253 These days the PNAC crowd in the USA and some elements in Britain are trying to reverse that trend imo. Bring us back to a feudal society. Tony Blair, for example, has become "presidential" and thinks that is the way to run the country. Nope, that is not the way things are done here. I doubt the PNAC crowd will control the USA much longer either. 5 years at the most before they are shown off. A small price for humanity to pay if they are gone for good.
