Even though the hype element can not be overlooked, AND it is clear that it would take another two years to start to materialize in real terms, one positive implication must not be ignored. Nanotechnology, had represented a serious question about producing an alternative technology with superconducting effects that could pull the rug from under AMSC's technological foundations. What I see in this release is a validation of NT being integrated into the current technology to enhance it rather than burry it. As to what this is worth on the current stock price, the best evaluator is the market. The effects AMSC mentions in the release are no child play, particularly when they come so early in the game.
