A specious post. There is a time to worry about deficits and debt but not while we are pulling out of the Clinton/Gore recession and waging a worldwide war, recovering from 9/11 etc.......

The problem is that you are using the deficit as a campaign issue. I would take your argument more seriously if the Dem. candidates had a plan to reduce the deficit. Alas, all I see from the candidates is the promise of increased taxes and increased spending.

Note that the DNC doesn't offer a solution for deficit reduction...only arbitrary complaints about "record" deficits. As I said before...the deficit is a non-issue.
