That's a pretty mean thing to say. She is a doctor and committed to her practice, what's wrong with that?

Yes, I know she was a long-time Repub which gives more ammunition to Bush campaign. I've listened to Teresa Heinz speak & her humanitarian concerns are commendable; however, she's obviously of foreign birth with insulated wealthy life disconnected from voters. I doubt the country is ready for anything other than an American first lady. I disagree completely with your assessment of Judy Dean. She's a family doctor & he is to be admired for respecting her priorities as a nonpolitical person who would rather tend to her patients. Why should the First Lady be packaged as merely a social secretary for the White House? It's time we had a modern American woman in that position.
