Bush/Giuliani would make it exciting, no?? Sistani plan may not be workable for june but maybe for september. I distrust the folks in the iraqi counsel who want to bypass both by expanding the counsel and I am doubtful the caucus route makes much sense either. The problem is with the rush to independence by june to precede our election. Democratic vote in september or november better than postioning june caucus as an end to all our problems. It will be better for bush too because the current plan wont work. Mike PS in the war on terror the iranian shiites have been troublemakers but make no mistake the source of bin laden terrorism as opposed to more local varieties is sunni wahabis. And the shiites are as fearful of them as we are because in the end to the Wahabis the shiiites are traitors and infidels too.
