Lizzie,
I believe the Bush campaign will try to keep Dems focused on Iraq because they're aware that the majority of voters agree with Bush's anti-terrorism stance...especially so, now that the military is in mid-east.
Hopefully that tactic will not work & Dem candidates will see through it & keep debate on Bush's pi_s poor domestic policies.
Dean said last night that the most devastating effect of Bush Adm in last 3 yrs has been the fact Americans no longer feel we're all in this together. Voters are slow to pay attention to political campaigns but the more people he can reach with his clear "take back the country" theme, the more converts there will be.
Last night proved that Dean is a much more forceful speaker than Kerry. That can make the difference in both campaigns--Reagan was called "The Great Communicator." Dean is as well....when he avoids flashbacks to the 60s. He needs to stay on his cutting edge message for 2004.
