Jack,
I have seen Mrs. Kerry speak to group of nurses in NH. Her father was a general practitioner on Mozambique, hence her interest in children's & women's health issues. She oversees the Heinz charitable foundation. I recognize & appreciate her contributions but doubt that will persuade many U.S. voters that she's a positive for Kerry candidacy. Dr. Judy Dean treats patients daily--not just dispensing charitable funds. Heinz's fortune certainly assures her husband's ability to stay in the race.
