In a way we should be thankful that Saddam was stupid enough not to clear himself and remain in power. This war was only about WMD's in the sinister imagination of the anti-American left. (BTW: Despite Kaye's self-serving resignation-caused by the fact that they cut his resources as a bad job-the WMD's in Iraq were both proven and very real BEFORE he got involved, and his personal failure doesn't make them any less real.)
