Yes, the issue will be pursued. Lots of newsprint. And books. But nobody cares any more. It's academic, dry dusty stuff for historians to haggle over. The last 12 months have shown that Americans do not mind being lied to. It has also shown that Americans place a near-zero value on the lives of non-Americans. It makes no impression on American public opinion, no matter how many thousands of women, children, and prisoners we slaughter. How many times over, have we avenged our 9/11 dead, by killing civilians and disarmed enemies? The only thing that will turn Americans against this war, is lots more Americans in body bags. That's it. That's all we care about. Fortunately, we have a volunteer army, and that is the Achilles Heel of the American Empire.
