the wording of today's statement is all but a guarantee that the next move will be a tightening - as wrongheaded as it may turn out to be. and that is why all types of financial assets are now falling in price...it's the one thing not one of these assets needs, with the possible exception of the bond market ( which will likely look at the deflationary implications of a tightening down the road ) .
