Call These Neo-Cons by Their Real Name: Zionist Christian Crusader Alliance!
There is another peculiar feature of Western politics. You never call anyone by their real name. In Britain, politicians always refer to each other as "Right Honourable Gentleman" or Lady (even if the person in questions is neither honourable or a Gentleman). Equally you never say someone has lied, they have merely been economical with the truth or as Claire Short said of Tony Blair recently: he thought he was engaged in a "honourable deception" over the war in Iraq.
I first became aware of this behaviour as an undergraduate, whilst debating politics and religion with fellow students. It did not matter that they were socialists, communists or conservatives; they would mostly claim they were atheists. After endless debates, they would invariably reveal their Christian or Jewish beliefs. On a visit to one such colleague's home (he had always claimed to be an atheist), I was shocked to find images of Jesus and crucifixes adorning his walls. He admitted to being a practising Christian. This kind of secular Taqqiya (dissimulation or lying) is in fact rife amongst western politicians and journalists. For example, Fundamentalist Jews and Christians in the United States are referred to as "hawks" or "neo-conservatives". The impression thus created, is that in the West, religious beliefs have little influence on political motivation or policies. This however, is yet another deception created by secularism and democracies. Religion has been a significant motivating factor in the West's political behaviour. British Royalty, Conservatism, and Socialism have all been deeply influenced by religion. The creation and constitution of the United States has foundations in religion. Adolf Hitler thought he was avenging the murder of Jesus at the hands of Jews. African slavery and the apartheid regime in South Africa were given legitimacy using the Bible. Surprisingly, when atheist communism collapsed, many of those diehard communists revealed their Christian beliefs. People like Yeltsin, Milosevic and Putin all sought the blessings of their Churches for their genocides against Muslims in Bosnia and Chechnya. It was only the Muslims living under Communism that had abandoned their religious beliefs. Many of today's "Neo-Cons" were also once committed Stalinists or leftists. Perhaps the greatest contradiction of the so-called secular West has been the creation of the State of Israel by supposedly secular European Jews, supported by supposedly secular politicians. Their claim to Palestine was and remains that God promised this land to them, and that this is recorded in the Bible. Zionist Jews used this argument with British and US politicians successfully, and won support for the Zionist State. History tends to neglect, that in fact the West also created another religious state in the heart of the Arabian Peninsula -the Christian State of Lebanon. This was only recently demolished thanks to the Hizbullah. Religious beliefs are still at the heart of the current Crusade against Islam. Since 911, a great deal of emphasis has been put on oil and corporate America, as the reasons for the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. The Socialists and anti-war movements see these wars like everything else as driven by economics. In doing so they actually prevent a thorough exposure of the nature of politics and religious fundamentalism in the West. They also end up doing Israel and its global supporters a great service by deflecting away from them, the fanatical religious beliefs that drive and motivate their policies and behaviour. More recently, the religious beliefs at the heart of the Junta that rules the US are slowly beginning to be unravelled and even the Pro-Israeli BBC have had Programmes on this subject on Newsnight and Panorama. However their focus has been mainly around "Neo-Con" Jews and their support for Israel. This however, represents only part of the picture. It is now obvious to most commentators, that many of those think tanks and journalists/newsmedia that support the Crusade against Islam and the War in Iraq, have been Zionist supporters of Israel. However it is also true that those non-Jews in the US administration that are behind the Crusade are primarily fundamentalist Christians (There are also many Christians that do not support the Zionist lobby both in the US and UK, and there are some Jews that are not Zionist supporters of Israel). However, there are some 45 million Zionist Christians in the US that are behind the current American ruling Junta (Zionist Christians themselves claim 100 million followers). Now 45 million people is the population of a major European state! So what do these Jewish and Christian fanatics and extremists actually believe which is the driving force behind the Crusade against Islam? Their primary motivation like those of their supporters is rooted in religious beliefs. In particular they are based on the literary truth of the Bible. At the heart of these beliefs are the State of Israel, the holy land of Jeruslaem, and the return of Jesus. For Zionist Jews and Christians, God has promised Palestine to the Jews and this forms the basis of their support for Israel. No matter how just the Palestinian cause, no matter how cruel and barbaric the behaviour of Israel, no matter what international law says, and no matter how hard Muslims lobby, the reality remains that Zionism and the European Christian world are joined at the heart through the Bible. That is the only reason that everything that Israel does is tolerated. Sure, not all Christians are fanatical, but even many of the least fanatical Christians in the West, believe in this promise of God to the Jews. Christian fanatics in the US wear stickers and badges that say, "Pray President Bush will honour God's covenant with Israel". It is this sick and twisted logic (that God would endorse Jewish crimes in the Middle East) that allows Israel and its supporters to get away with everything, in the Judeo-Christian world and its instruments such as the UN. For Zionist Jews the promise of God extends way beyond Israel's current boundaries. It encompasses most of Iraq and Syria up to the Euphrates, all of Jordan, parts of Lebanon and the Brook of Egypt and Saudi Arabia. These are the boundaries that the founder of Zionism, Theodore Herzl and the leaders of the Israeli State envisaged and continue to work towards, hence their total opposition to any peace process with the Palestinians. "All the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever". (Genesis 13:14-17).
This promise to Abraham (saw), in the eyes of these Zionists has yet to pass. That is if you accept that Abraham had only one legitimate son as the Jews do. However, if you accept that Abraham had two sons, and from one of them also descended the Arabs and Muslims, then this promise has already been fulfilled, since the Arabs have already been owners of all the land mentioned. For Zionist Jews and Christians, contemporary historical facts confirm the literary truth of the Bible and foretell its future. These beliefs currently guide US and Israeli foreign policy in the Middle East, although they would officially deny this. According to Zionist Christians the Bible foretells what has already happened in the Middle East and hence confirms that it is God's word. Below is a list of events that have already taken place and those to come, according to the Zionist Christian understanding. 1. BC 930 - As a result of King Soloman's worship of false gods the 12 tribes of Israel were divided into two nations. (Bible: Kings 11 and 12). 2. BC 709 -The ten northern tribes were taken captive by the Assyrian Empire never to return (for their worship of gentile Gods). (Hosea: 8:7-8). 3. BC 606-586 -The two southern tribes also eventually turned to the worship of false gods of others around them. This lead to the destruction of Jerusalem, by the Babylonian empire at the hands of Nebuchadnezzar, known as the first siege of Jerusalem. The Jews would never have another King until Jesus rules on earth.

13. At the heart of Christian and Jewish Zionism is Jerusalem and the rebuilding of the Third Jewish Temple (Zion is Jerusalem). In medieval maps Jerusalem was shown at the centre of the world. In current Christian Zionist thinking Jerusalem is to be the seat of World Government. Zionist Christians believe that the second temple destroyed by the Romans is located at the Temple Mount. This rectangular compound, houses two of the holiest sites of Muslims -the Dome of the Rock and Al Aqsa Mosque. Over the last century there have been around 100 attempts by Christians and Jews to destroy the Muslim sites. A core belief of Jewish and Christian Zionists is the need to demolish the Mosques, build the Jewish temple on it, and re-establish temple worship and sacrifice. Christian Zionists collect money for this purpose and support organisations, Christian and Jewish, to fulfil this goal. They also believe that the demolition of Islam's holiest places will naturally trigger the war of Armageddon. This they believe must happen for Jesus to return. For Zionist Jews it marks the appearance of the Messiah that they are still anticipating.
Israel will be attacked and will be on the brink of losing all territory except a part of Jerusalem. At that time Jesus will be revealed as the Messiah of the Jews and will personally defend Jerusalem and the Jews. (Zechariah 14).
This battle of Armageddon is described in Ezekiel. The Prophet Ezekiel foresees a massive confederacy of nations invading the land of Israel, just before Jesus returns to establish the Kingdom of God on earth.
The leader of this confederacy is believed by Christian Zionists to be what is referred to in the Bible as Gog from the Land of Magog (Magog being the ancient name for the Scythans in what is now South Russia). It is this that perhaps explains mistrust of Russia by the US administration despite it being an ally.
Russia's allies are believed to be primarily Muslim nations. Recently, US presidential candidate General Wesley Clark (in his new book the Clark Critique) says that he met with a senior Pentagon officer in November 2001, who informed him that the Bush administration had plans to attack seven Muslim nations --Iraq then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Iran, Somalia and Sudan. In the opinion of this writer, it is no coincidence that the nations mentioned are exactly those Biblical lands believed by Zionists Christians to encompass countries that will be part of the final conflict.
The Bible talks of the lands such as Persia, Cush, Phut and Lubim, These areas now encompass all the countries mentioned by General Wesley Clark.
Zionist Christians also talk of Biblical Lands that would oppose the invasion of Israel - Sheba, Dedon and Tarshish. Sheba and Dedon are countries like, Saudi Arabia and the Arabian Peninsula. Tarshish refers to countries in the West (Europe).
14. Zionist Christians believe that God Himself (Jesus Christ) will return and fight for Israel against the attacking nations. Zech 14:3-4 "Then the LORD will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights in the day of battle. On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south."
This is known as the battle of Armageddon because of the location where the nations assemble themselves before attacking. The book of Revelation sates: - Rev 16:14-16 "They are spirits of demons performing miraculous signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty... Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon."
Revelation also prophesies the return of Jesus Christ on this day saying... Rev 19:11 "I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war."
15. The nation of Israel will finally recognize that Jesus was their Messiah, whom they crucified, and Jesus will pour his grace upon them! Zech 12:9-10 "On that day I will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem. And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son."
16. God (Jesus) will judge the nations depending upon their treatment of the Jewish people. Joel 1:1-2 "In those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will enter into judgment against them concerning my inheritance, my people Israel, for they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land."
17. The Kingdom of God will be established by Jesus, and his rule will bring peace to mankind. The seat of this World Government is Jerusalem. In the worldview of the Christian Zionists there is clearly no role for the United Nations!
In the mindset of the Christian Zionists this is indeed the Final Crusade to impose their worldview on the Muslim world and humanity (hence the title of my paper the Final crusade Against Islam published soon after 911). In the opinion of this writer this is the prime reason for Tony Blair's support for the occupation of Iraq. The British Prime Minister is like Bush a believer in the literary truth of the Bible. When he says he "really believes" in what he has done, and can justify the killings of Iraqis to his maker, this is the real reason. He did it for God and Israel, in his mind the two are connected. The question for the Muslims is how 2 millions of them living in Britain and 5 millions in the US did not see this coming, yet those that inhabit caves in Afghanistan were able to predict and identify this Crusade against Islam? The truth is that the moderate Muslims have stretched the concept of Ahle-Kitab way beyond what it was originally intended, and use their own judgement, or that of the left, instead of that given by Allah (swt) in the Quran to analyse events. The Quran warns us about this Jewish/Christian Zionist crusader alliance, not once, but numerous times. The bad news for the world is that religious fanatics are in possession of weapons of mass destruction; unfortunately they are of the Jewish and Christian kind, not Muslims. They use their secularism and democracy as a mask to disguise their religious beliefs and motivations. True to the Judeo-Christian history of the West, they will likely use those weapons, and thus create the Armageddon they so desperately crave. Jahangir Mohammed, Director, Centre for Muslim Affairs.
