I like how you spin "the self-interested actions of all
parties benefits all". You so benignly spin those
countries that opposed the war without ever mentioning
that France, Germany, Russia, China, etc., all had
participated in illegal arms sales to Iraq & had received
extremely lucrative contracts in return from Saddam.


Self-interest isn't a difficult concept. What do you not get about it? Argue if you want against the desirability of it as a guiding principle, but don't confuse an example of it with spin. Pursuit of self-interest isn't spinnable because it has no moral component beyond itself.
