the market likes these results. Up sharply in AH, on outstanding revenues. I like OSTK. This is one I beat you to, in 02. But alas, the market was not right for growth in 02 so I think I closed the position even. But I like this company OSTK, I've bought a few things from there too.

There is another well managed private company in the same business, Sierra Trading Post, who I would look at if they were public. They are using the internet very effectively, even better than OSTK. Once you buy from Sierra, they must have you in a cookie on their site. If you even go to the site once, to browse- poof a catalog shows up in the mail. Catalog mailing on demand almost, except you don't ask for it.

4:29PM Overstock.com beats by a nickel (OSTK) 20.80 +0.23: Reports Q4 (Dec) GAAP loss of $0.19 per share, $0.05 better than the Reuters Research consensus of ($0.24); GAAP total revenues rose 196.9% year/year to $123.2 mln vs the $105.3 mln consensus. Co also says that its COO is "no longer with the company."
