I asked if anyone believes that the DNC has supported Kerry rather than Dean because McAuliffe does not want anyone elected who might prevent Hillary Clinton from running for Pres in 2008. They therefore prefer a nominee this time who can be easily shot down by Bush campaign.
The insider talking heads have been batting that theory back & forth for a few wks. Kerry can't do it...his voting record provides too much fodder for Bush's grist mill.
