Gold off sixteen bucks, woo-hoo ... what are they saying about that, is it due to threats of higher rates [haven't read any commentary yet] .... there will be no significant rate rise until 2005, imho, remember this is the US election year .... there will likely come a perception of turn of trend, bottoming out, sure, quite possibly a quarter or half point rise, but they're so low that doesn't mean a great deal ....

EC will get a company together, pretty soon no doubt .... i'm so cash-poor lately i can't afford to pay attention, otherwise i would have checked out the fine detail and probably gotten in on a placement by now .... but, keep having to take money the wrong way, out of the market .... stupid, got trapped in a deal that's not working out as planned, shoulda coulda woulda stayed with stocks and let the rest go by .... great fun this morning, had a meeting with a german couple at place nearby, their plans changed a little, plus they wanted to see something here, so they decided to pick me up at home .... then, the guy couldn't come, and his wife's twin sister came with her instead .... so, the 'german couple' my wife met at the door consisted of two beautiful blonde ladies ... there's been nothing said yet, but you know there has to be intense suspicion lurking, i'll have to make sure the guy comes here, to prove his existence, lol

Most of those things are benign. The main thing is to bank blood and make sure the physician who operates gives some guarantee of being negative for various risks. While modern techniques make the possibility of even an infected medic being a hazard, and testing is no panacea or real proof, it serves to give some peace of mind if they will show at least recent evidence of being free of problems.

Great Quest -- Shore Gold -- AMI

Anyone know anything about them? They have the aura of having some kind of chance at getting there somehow. Is this my imagination?

Falcon Ventures Inc (C-FIX) - News Release
Falcon Ventures plans Island Lake drilling program
Falcon Ventures Inc FIX
Shares issued 8,099,258 Feb 3 2004 close $ 0.43
Wednesday February 4 2004 News Release

Mr. David Power reports
INCREASED INTEREST IN ISLAND LAKE AREA OF MANITOBA
In view of increased interest in the area adjacent to Falcon Ventures' claims at Island Lake, Man., the company plans to accelerate its exploration activity in the area, subject to securing required financing. Recent staking and acquisitions of neighbouring claims by other parties has been observed. Placer Dome and others have leased or acquired mineral claims that now surround most of Falcon's Island Lake properties. David Power, president of Falcon, commented: "We are greatly encouraged when a company with the stature of Placer Dome Gold is active in the area of our claims. We believe that this supports our earlier evaluation of the potential of this area." The company geologist, Keith Metcalfe, who has had considerable field experience in this location, has recommended a drilling program be commenced as early as possible. Falcon's holdings extend for 10 kilometres of the known gold trend which runs through the company's claims.
