CNN just announced Trippi quit after refusing to be demoted. Sam Donaldson was on and stated that the real problem was the candidate himself, and that switching campaign managers can work, but not with seven primaries six days away. This means the campaign will have n clear leader going into Super Tuesday and no time to re-organize the way Kerry did successfully a few months ago.

Indeed, Trippi has left. Check out Yahoo news. I was also surprised. Trippi says he will
continue to support Howard.
