Lizzy has her own California ideas and ain't open to anything else. She lives in her own fucking bubble and has no idea how the world works. You guys haven't been right about this economy once this year. You bought into the phony government claims last year that we had 7-8% GDP, because you wanted to believe the BushCo economy was on fire so badly. You kept chanting that "jobs were a lagging indicator". You claimed "retail Xmas 03 is ON FIRE". I think it is you all who don't know how the world works, or you don't understand economics or something. If Bush told you we had 30% GDP you'd probably buy it. No durable goods, no capex recovery, no jobs. That is the Bush economy, deal with it. Quit blaming the messenger when there is bad news for your man.

Lizzy has her own California ideas and ain't open to anything else. LOL!!!!! Yeah. I've noticed that. You speak of "fly over country", but the California I live in isn't NEARLY as bad as what she paints. She does her usual wonderful job of slanting things and seeing the world through gloom-colored glasses except when a Dem she has the hots for is in the WH. The simple fact is that there were homeless in Silicon Valley and there were soup kitchens in operation all through the Bubba Bubble. Ask her if she recognizes the words "Glide Memorial Church". If she doesn't, it is simply another measure of her ignorance. This valley has been through more ups and downs than a teeter-totter. I remember once sending out over 300 resumes and getting NO responses- -not even "Dear John" letters. Fortunately, I had a job at the time; just hated it and wanted out. And ANYONE with the brains of a gnat knew those conditions in the valley in the late '90s were a severe aberration, not business as usual as Lizzie loves to dream. Anyone with any experience knew it had to end and it was "Make hay while the sun shines."
