She ignores a few minor matters in her view: The entire United States is NOT the west coast. She and I may live here, but there's a LOT of country to the east of us. If we're in the pits, that hardly means Tulsa or Peoria or Chicago have to be. They can be doing just fine and the overall national economy can be doing just fine.
