Amy, re: I liked this part a lot: "encouraging the widespread ownership of income-producing assets." I knew you would, that's why I posted the article to you. "Forced" investment in stocks/bonds as a part of "Social Security" is an interesting concept. I'm still on the fence, not sure if I support it or not. Being a free market guy, I don't like social engineering, but I like the end result, in theory. As I said before the Devil is in the details, and the law of unintended consequences. John
