President George Bush

Dear President Bush, I wish I could find a bumper sticker that says "Anyone But Bush". All you talk about is Iraq and the Iraqi people. What about us? We voted for you and you let us down. The national debt is a disgrace. My health insurance premiums are over $700. a month. I am 64 and will never get to retire fully. I am a Republican and will not vote for you again. Sincerely, Marilyn Huneke, Retired dairy farmer and nurse

To:
President George Bush

Dear Mr. Bush

I am offended that you should be bored with an official who tried to create a more responsible fiscal policy. Your politcally motivated fiscal policies will result in serious consequences for my grandchildren.

Neither the White House nor the Democratic
candidates have fathomed the depth of anger
of the millions whose jobs were offshored/outsourced or lost to corporate
plunderers.

Unemployment extensions

To:
Sen. Carl Levin

January 27, 2004

My husband has only 1 week of unemployment left and we will then have no income. There are no jobs and I don't know what will happen to us. It's amazing, all the billions of dollars, we spend to better the lives of other people, in other countries. What the hell about us, the "United States Citizen"? I don't know how it can be said, the economy is turning around and there are less people unemployed, it sure isn't that way here in Mason County. Factory, after factory is closing down in our community. The Bush Administration seems to care about every country, but our own. Does anyone care, there are a lot of us that lost our jobs and haven't been able to find another?

<<That is meaningless.>>

Not meaningless to the people who have lost their jobs.

This president has done damn little that benefits plain old working people.
