glib answer

1) Performed with a natural, offhand ease: glib conversation.

2) Showing little thought, preparation, or concern: a glib response to a complex question.

3) Marked by ease and fluency of speech or writing that often suggests or stems from insincerity, superficiality, or deceitfulness.

Hmm. Guess you mean my answer either wasn't nuanced enough, or was deceitful. It's one thing to blame your Mayor when you have a pothole in front of the house vs blaming Bush for bad Intel from the CIA. Especially when every other Western Intel agency said the same.

I blame Bush for not fixing the problem. That is, if he doesn't. Refusing to give the Dems ammo by not doing a "mea culpa" is not a legitimate charge, IMO. The other charges against him on this issue are simply partisan, IMO.
