Again, you are missing the point. A congressional committee may be in more of a position to examine the intelligence services, but we are in no position to critique their work, certainly not strongly, and therefore are constrained to rely upon their analyses to a greater or lesser extent, knowing that they cannot guarantee one hundred percent accuracy, but also that they are privy to much more information and analysis than we are.

By the way, not even Kay thinks there was any prevarification by Bush, just as Blair was cleared of "sexing up" intelligence reports............

I have seen Neocon apologize.

But I have never seen Bilow apologize. Heck, I have never seen Bilow even admit he was wrong, and he has been spectacularly wrong at several points. I have seen his recolection of his own stances undergo a mysterious metamorphosis...
