The Clinton line has been getting long and hard play from the right for quite some time now. It's pretty far-fetched. At any rate, whether or not Clinton would have chosen to engineer a war in Iraq in response to 9/11, it's hard to believe that he could have ended up with the post-war mess that W's crew has created. That took a lot of specific hard work and willful ignorance on the part of Rumsfeld, Cheney, and Co.

Clinton stated he didn't know if Saddam had WMD or not, and that inspections were a good way to find out.
