Re Moran, I agree, I was living in the area when he ran for office and was elected, seemed like a good public servant. An even-handed guy.

Re the rest of them, I think they are pretty much representative of humanity. Actually, better than average. I would not want a Congress made up of saints, as my life would look rather tawdry in comparison.

Someone who extends credit to a political campaign should understand that the person running for office is not personally liable for the debt. Otherwise, nobody could afford to run for office. I think expecting the candidate to be out of pocket for debts he didn't individually endorse is going a bit too far.
