This fax program gets decent user reviews on download.com.

Here's a list from download.com...you have to wade through some non-fax software ...just check out the fax software,

download.com.com

WinFax Pro used to be a general favorite but apparently many people have had problems using it with Windows XP.

I'm curious if you've had bad experiences with EFAX and how you make out with the new program that you install. I've found EFAX to be a great service. The major advantage to me is having it on a wireless laptop. I don't need to find a fax machine or a telephone wire to fax. It basically goes over my broadband wireless connection. I receive faxes effortlessly and they are stored on the PC. I pay for the service about 10/month and that provides me with a local number with area code as well as a voice mail. Overall it's been very reliable although a few busy times, people were unable to get through but I suppose that happens with other aspects of today's telephone digital network.
