The new format appears to be motivated by card manufacturers who have to pay royalties
to SNDK for its SD or miniSD cards. I wouldn't be surprised if Samsung were involved.


Art, you can't build a card standard without slot adoption.

AB The reason that SNDK rose to the $80s was in my view solely to do with the entry into the index.

The pros knew it, anticipated it and then seemingly got out leaving the non-pros and SNDK technology believers to carrty the baby.
