I don't think Texans can whine too much about their measly share of the pork.

Texas is raking in HUGE pork barrel spending money now. I was just in Houston and everyone was talking about it. The entire Mars mission is just more big-time pork for Texas. Delay has helped out every polluter company in Texas and the fix is in on energy prices thanks to the cheney bunch. Billions and billions ripped off and gouged from consumers and tax-payers. What's good for Texas is always bad for the rest of the country. This time is no exception.

Bush is the worst for this kind of favoritism. Just because something benefits TEXAS, does not mean it is good for the US. Same thing with California. Just because Bush doesn't win in California, that doesn't mean he should do everything possible to screw the state. But that didn't stop him from doing all that he could to make california suffer.

Well, jokes on Bush. Every major tech employer is moving offshore, it started in California and Bush can't stem the tide. If Bush wins re-election in this economic climate I will be shocked.

Bush is a petty, small individual who can't see the big picture and is enveloped in spite.
