Speaking of terrorism, there is an interesting theory by two psychologists called "terror management" theory, as to why we do certain things, like have ingroups or outgroups, or defend things rigidly, even abstractions like culture. Sometimes your posts bring this to my mind. Here's a review of their book: apa.org I wonder if you are too intense about this subject--and why it is so absolute to you, and doesn't have room for some relativism. Hope you are doing well.
