This post seems selective in who said what and when they said it. All I see in this post are words by people of the current administration. I assume your post is accurate regarding these statements. Unfortunately, you omitted many similar declarations by members of the previous administration and other prominent democrats. If you wish to post those, it might help in our discussion of this issue. :-)

Below I've noted how Bush framed the issue in his own words.

Explain to me why any reasonable person should give
credibility to anyone who says, ya but Bush really meant
this?

President Bush frames the issue by stating......

<font size=4>...."Some have said we must not act until the threat is imminent. Since when have terrorists and tyrants announced their intentions, politely putting us on notice before they strike? If this threat is permitted to fully and suddenly emerge, all actions, all words, and all recriminations would come too late. Trusting in the sanity and restraint of Saddam Hussein is not a strategy, and it is not an option.".....<font size=3>

And when he also framed the issue further by stating.....

Tonight I want to take a few minutes to discuss a grave threat to peace, and America's determination to lead the world in confronting that threat.....

On September the 11th, 2001, America felt its vulnerability -- even to threats that gather on the other side of the earth.....

First, some ask why Iraq is different from other countries or regimes that also have terrible weapons. While there are many dangers in the world, the threat from Iraq stands alone -- because it gathers the most serious dangers of our age in one place.....

Some ask how urgent this danger is to America and the world. The danger is already significant, and it only grows worse with time.....

Knowing these realities, America must not ignore the threat gathering against us.....
