Maybe this will clarify my position. I am a fundamentalist. There are two possibilities. The universe created life or life created the universe. The patriarchs of the Bible described the revelations of God in terms they were familiar with. God is not a magician. He established the laws of the universe and he works within them. If there is life elsewhere in the universe, it is there by the grace of God.
