It isn't so much that he lied but what he lied about.

Let's look at a list

1. Wife: "Do these pants make my butt look big". Hubby: "No"
2. Clinton: "I did not sleep with that woman (and you will have to prove I did).
3. Bush: "Iraq has weapons of mass destruction"

All three are lies. Most of us have lied our @ss off when it comes to our personal life or in cases such as (1) above, where the harm outweighs the benefit of honesty.

I for one, have not falsified documents or said I performed tasks I didn't at my job in a regulated business. Not all lies are equal.

I didn't think Clinton had to answer questions about his personal life and in 20/20 hindsight probably wishes he'd said "I will not comment on matters that do not pertain to my constitutional powers as president or matters otherwise related to the nation." If they wanted to bring a womanizer down, they succeeded. Can a womanizer be a good president? I think "Yes".

Clinton created the last national park anyone is going to see for a very long time but, I never liked Madeleine Albright and disagreed with much of his Bosnia policy. The actions in Bosnia were an order of magnitude smaller than Bush's Iraq quest and certainly not as controversial for our former allies.

Bush should get a girlfriend,
Maybe he then wouldn't have to start wars to prove his macho.
