You are a typical liberal Democrat. Conservative Southerners are Democrats, and its o.k, only until they switch to the Republican Party. The South becomes Republican, then and all of a sudden, its about racist Southern White Males that left the Democratic Party for the Republicans. Never mind that the quality of life for African Americans, in the South, has continued to get better as Republican power increased. Isn't it a little ironic that the quality of life for African Americans seemed to have progressed much slower in many locales still dominated by Democrats (especially since, now the Democrats are purged of all those racist conservative white Democrats)? You go so far as to claim that LBJ, today would have been a Republican - Maybe you're right on this As LBJ did more for civil rights than than any Northern Democrat ever did, or for that matter, any Democratic President before or since. Then suddenly an Arab, supporting Palestinians, couldn't have been RFK's murderer - it must have been a right wing conspiracy to kill RFK (with you suggesting brainwashing and mind control from the CIA no less). Never mind that RFK took personal charge of a covert operation, and ordered the CIA to destablize Cuba and murder Castro. The most famous liberal Judge of the 20th Century chairs a Commission that finds that the President was killed by a lone communist wanna be. This view is accepted by American liberals, until they begin to embrace Mao, Ho Chi Mihn, and Pol Pot (and claim that genocide and war crimes was standard operating procedure for American Troops in Vietnam), then suddenly it must have been conservatives that plotted to kill JFK. Well, the only real conspiracy was among the original conspiracy theorists and the KGB. If Oswald didn't act alone, then he had help from President Kennedy's campaign staff, who ordered top off the President's car - over the objections of the Secret Service. He had help from members of the President's personal staff, who made sure that the President wore his back brace that day - making it impossible for him to duck after the first MISSED shot. Why don't you name the aides within the Kennedy White House, that conspired with Hoover to kill the President? - you don't, because you can't (in my opinion, they never existed). Instead you blame the CIA, FBI, the Dallas Police Department, Earl Warren, and "right wingers". Well, I don't believe that members of the President's personal staff, the Directors of the FBI, CIA, President Johnson, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, President Ford, Attorney General Kennedy were members of a conspiracy to kill (or coverup) President Kennedy's murder. And the magic bullet wasn't magic at all. ABC News showed a 3-D computer analysis of the positions of the President and the Governor and it all lines up straight - and back to the Texas School Book Depository.
