"Blame America first" means "blame the right wing".
The right-wing and GW Bush are not America. The right-wing are a minority of Americans, a vocal minority versus the more silent majority. But the majority is not going to be silent anymore on this. We do not like being called "traitors" by the rich right-wing chickenhawks and their mouthpieces when we are the actual heros, the ones who really fight, die and work hard for our livings.

Most people don't even agree with the right on most issues. They cheated to take power and have abused that power. Bush lied about being a compassionate moderate and turned into a dictatorial hard-liner.

John Kerry and Wes Clark's message is that the the right-wing will no longer be allowed to claim the military, the country, the flag or the cross for themselves. In fact, assuming Bush deliberately lied about Iraq, they have disqualified themselves from being entrusted with our military. The reason most of the world dislikes Bush and company is because we just can't trust them. Even when they do something right they usually have a hidden motive. Even if you think Saddam was worth taking out, for instance, where are the oil revenues going now? There's always some stinking deceit beneath the surface.
