It appears from the article that the NEA is Laura's pet project. The major complaint against the NEA has been its creative choices. If that has been cleaned up, then I don't see why you are so exercised over this. The money is apparently going for the dissemination of art to the red state hinterlands. I don't think that the Feds should be funding art, either, but this would appear to address the main concerns of the critics so I wonder why you would go to the mat over it.
