That is one of the most compelling affirmations of God I have ever heard. I know I am here only by his grace.

Congratulations. to those who have had the luck to grow
up as kids, before lawyers and government regulated our lives, for our own good.

Beautifully said. Times were tough but if you never had you never missed. The last generation that did not demand the Government "do something for me".

Great stuff.

"We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the street lights came on."

My parents worked long hours so I generally walked home from little league games by myself, in the dark. Through the field behind the stadium, cut across the railroad tracks, through an industrial part of town, then a few more blocks and I was home.

By today's standards I guess they were terrible parents, the state would have placed me in a foster home. But I remember a lot of kids doing the same thing.
