Doing a search I came across a person that said the same as you. He went with the standard with no problems.That wouldn't be an option for me. My granny shifting days are over and I just want to hit the gas pedal. Got the newer 5 speed auto in this truck I just bought. The heaviest thing I tow is a 16ft grizzly bass boat and that is no real test. The tranny itself is very smooth though. Comes with a button for tow mode. Must be for those that are too lazy to pull the lever into 4th.
