I said CURRENT right-wing leaders. No combat vets. Not a single one in the neocon movement. Carter was a submarine commander of some kind. Clinton, Cheney, Delay, Bush, all dodged the draft. Bush went AWOl and was technically a deserter. Rumsfield was in the military but neevr combat. Powell, McCain etc. are moderates.

Are you not aware Carter ran a nuclear submarine?
I am still waiting to hear the name of one current top rightwing leader who has ever served in combat. I have been waiting for a year in fact. I am also waiting to hear who will claim the $5000 reward for anyone who witnessed GW Bush in the air Guard the entire year of 1972 when he was required to report for duty. So far no takers for five straight years.
