McCain is not a right-winger. Like Hagel a moderate conservative. McCain regularly works with Kerry, Lieberman and Feinstein. He believes in environmental protection and getting the money out of politics.

McCain is a moderate who opposes Bush on key issues.
He has been speaking out against Bush these past few weeks. McCain has worked numnerous times with Kerry and they are fast friends who trust each other deeply. McCain doesn't trust Bush as far as he can throw him.
