The Democratic voters are looking at who amongst the Democratic candidates is best suited to beat Bush. Clark has to make the point why he is best suited. He has not been successful in shaking off the Republican label. So what is he yelling for. Let him first convince the Democratic voters that he is a patriot. he cannot do so by denigrating a decorated war hero and calling his credentials into question because he (Kerry) had a lower rank in the military.
