Kerry is championing a bill to practically outlaw lobbying by former government officials. If lobbyists want to give him money and expect anything in return they're wasting their time. The first thing Delay did with the new congress was top kill the rule making congressmen have to report gifts from lobbyists. Right now, it' the pigs at the troughs which is why we have all the pork barrel spending McCain hates so much. Kerry will clean up that situation fast. I happen to know the Kerry campaign returns any check that comes in with a hint of tit-for-tat with it. That's the way they do things. They're very honest and ethical.
