Being rich is fine. Being rich and acting like a selfish miser refusing to pay your fair share and help society is not American. That takes us back to the mentality of the railroad barons where there was a ruling class and then everyone else to be exploited. The big problem for the GOP is that they have allied themselves with the Benedict Arnold corporate interests who actually hurt working families, gouge consumes, pollute the environment and snd jobs overseas just so their CEO's can sit by their country club swimming polls and count their stock dividends. I don'yt see how that can be a winning strategy. In the 90's Clinton raised taxes on millions, and that created more new millioniares than anytime in history.
