>>>"and the Iraqi people are free."<<<

Bush calls the civil war now going on in Iraq freedom? Of the 10,000 Iraqis who've been killed from the Bush War, how many of the families members of those who've died have themselves been impacted by Bush's version of freedom? How many identities have been lost because the US failed to protect all government buildings, except the Iraqi Oil Ministry? How many people are now being uprooted in Northern Iraq as the Kurds bid to take back what was once theirs? How much closer are Kurds to autonomy? How will the Sunnies now relate to the Shiites? How closely will the new Shiite government resemble Iran's religious-styled government? How much more anger and confusion now reign in Saudi Arabia, in Jordon, in Turkey as a consequence of Bush's version of freedom? How much respect has the world lost for the US due to its unilateral action--what does the rest of the world think of the US version of freedom?

Bush's PR wizards from Hill-Knowlton to the spinmeisters in the White House like Karl Rove, et. al., led us from french fries to freedom fries, from french toast to freedom toast. I dare say that this Bush Administration has taken the precepts of freedom and flushed them down the toilet. But that's okay, 'cause now we've got freedom toilet paper in America where we can flush away our fears.
