While it is true that gold stocks were brought down in the crash of 87 they also rebounded pretty quick as well.

I don't see a crash happening. Could be it is no longer possible due to "measures" taken by the SEC. Donno really. But a long, possibly steep correction is almost a certainty in my book.

My game plan, since I intend to not go completely to cash is take some profits from the next run we get in POG (there will be one right?) and put it in some funds that are bearish the general markets, like USPIX. Only way I can see to protect myself and stay invested.

I cannot trade futures and would not know how anyway....
